Colleague: “Hi Chee, can you check whether this person has signed into PALS?”

Me: “Sure, what’s his name.”

Colleague: “Choi.”

Me: “Choi? Can you spell that for me please?”

Colleague: “C-H-O-I.”

Me (giggling a little inside): “Oh okay. And…what’s his first name?”

Colleague: “John.”
